It’s always a good time for tea! An HTeaO location is being planned for Colleyville, and it is expected to open sometime in early 2023. “We’re at the very beginning stages of permitting and selecting a general contractor,” said owner Brady Shackelford.

Shackelford opened their first franchise location on Harwood Rd. in Bedford back in 2020. Colleyville is part of their original franchise territory. “Since it’s close proximity to our first store, it works out operationally,” Shackelford told What Now Dallas.

“One thing we liked about Bedford, and we see the similarities in Colleyville, is Bedford is kind of a small town within a big city. We feel like Colleyville has that same feature of being a close-knit community that will welcome us and really enjoy the tea that we serve.”

The nearly 2,000-square-foot space at 4917 Colleyville Blvd. in Colleyville will feature a tea bar, retail space, and a drive-thru. HTeaO’s menu has two dozen flavors of sweet and unsweet iced tea that can be topped with fresh fruit. The tea is brewed in house with reverse osmosis water. Healthy snack alternatives such as Popchips and SkinnyPop Popcorn, as well as YETI merchandise including tumblers and coolers are also available for purchase.

“We’re ready to get started on building the store and can’t wait to get open.”
