The grand opening for Cafe Hana, a new coffee shop in Irving that will house a speakeasy, is currently planned for mid-April. Sara Nam, owner of Cafe Hana, told What Now Dallas this will be her first location for the coffee shop.
But, Nam is no stranger to the restaurant industry. Nam owns Edoko Omakase just a couple of doors down from the planned coffee shop/speakeasy in Irving’s Las Colinas neighborhood.
Cafe Hana will feature coffee brewed from beans imported from Japan, as well as pastries. Nam said a room in the back will offer VIP guests an à la carte menu and tastings from the chef. A full bar will also be available inside the speakeasy.
“During the day, I’ll serve coffee and pastries, and in the night, a small room in the back is a speakeasy room,” Nam explained. Cafe Hana will be located at 1030 W. John Carpenter Fwy., Ste. 150, Irving, TX 75039.
