Cleburne to Gain Firehouse Subs

A Firehouse Subs is in the works for a new retail center near Nolan River Mall in Cleburne. The restaurant offers sandwiches piled high with meats, cheeses, and toppings.

Hot specialty subs such as the Hook & Ladder featuring turkey, ham, and melted Monterey Jack, plus the Italian and Spicy Cajun Chicken are just a few menu options. Guests can also build their own subs or get sandwiches served cold. Salads are also offered, and diners can add chips, macaroni and cheese, or soup to any meal.

The Cleburne Firehouse Subs will be housed in a nearly 1,500-square-foot space at 1663 W Henderson St., acccording to a recent project filing. Brian Kaus is listed as the tenant for the Cleburne Firehouse Subs. Kaus owns other franchise locations in Fort Worth.

Brothers Chris Sorensen and Robin Sorensen founded Firehouse Subs in Florida in 1994. The former firefighters have built a brand that offers tasty subs but is also committed to saving lives through its non-profit Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. The brand now has more than 1,200 locations, and it continues to expand. The new Cleburne spot could open in fall of 2023.
