Cidercade, the cider and arcade game room concept from beloved Dallas-based Bishop Cider Co., is coming to 1813 W Bowie St near the TCU campus. It was originally planned to open early 2022. An exact date for the delayed opening has not been announced, but it shouldn’t be much longer.

“We are making progress on Fort Worth and plan on opening this summer,” a spokesperson for the brand said. “We’re not quite ready to announce an open date though.”

When it opens, it will not only be the brand’s fourth Cidercade location, but also its biggest with more than 25,000 square feet of space, over 300 games, and the largest outdoor patio space.

For just $10 admission, guests get unlimited play on all current and retro arcades. There’s artisan thin-crust pizzas, wings, desserts and drinks, of course, by Bishop Cider.

Founded in 2014, Bishop Cider got its start when owners Joel and Laura Malone started making cider out of their home in the summer of 2012. Today, Bishop Cider is sold across Texas, Oklahoma, and several states in the Northeast, including New York.

Cidercade currently has three locations in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Cidercade Dallas is open in the Design District at 2777 Irving Blvd.
