Located at 7700 Windrose Ave, suite G-170, the forthcoming restaurant fills an expansive space of 6,200 square feet that features timeless Middle Eastern design elements.

Offering an immersive, cross-cultural culinary journey like no other, Darna (which means “Our House” in Arabic) is more than a place to dine. It is a celebration of the shops, cafés, street vendors and bazaars that make the Mediterranean region so attractive.

Featuring a full-service kitchen, dine-in dishes such as Greek feta fondue, pastrami hummus and savory chicken kabobs, will allow guests to experience and enjoy the diverse options that markets of the Mediterranean have to offer. If you’re pressed for time, Darna will have grab and go deli, mezza, salad, and sandwich stations. Guests will be able to build their salads and sandwiches from a selection of meats, breads, cheeses and spreads.

There will also be a coffee bar serving pastries, desserts, and specialty coffees like Turkish coffe. It’s special because its grind is very fine and it is prepared without filtering. Darna will also offer a full-service alcohol bar serving everything from craft cocktails to select beer and wine.

The exciting market and eatery comes from Yela Concepts and has been in the works for quite some time.

“Yela Concepts chef/founder, Yaser Khalaf, and I have been working on this unique venture for quite some time, so we couldn’t be more excited to open, creating an experience unlike any other in North Texas,” Yela Concepts president and CEO Pat Garza shared in a release. “Inspired by Yaser’s heritage and years of research, along with his extensive reputation in the restaurant industry, Darna will encompass the cultivation of experience defined by texture, aroma, and visual art.”

In preparation for its opening in late June, Darna is currently hiring up to 100 individuals for multiple positions. Interested candidates can apply online at darnamarket.com or in person at Darna Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 7 PM or Saturday between 10 AM and 4 PM.
