Jersey Mike’s, the popular sub sandwich franchise chain, will open its first location in the Dallas County city at 140 FM 1382. It will occupy suite 100, a former Sprint store, in the Cedar Hill Town Center shopping center. An opening date has not yet been announced.

Franchisee Cory Freeman, who also operates several other Jersey Mike’s around the DFW area including in Richardson and Mesquite, is bringing the restaurant to the area.

Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike’s has become nationally known for offering “a sub above.” It currently has over 2,000 restaurants either open or under development nationwide.

With a commitment to using quality products and providing exceptional customer service, subs are made “Mike’s Way” with fresh veggies and premium meats and cheeses that are sliced on the spot. Piled high on in-store baked bread and then topped off with an exquisite zing of “the juice” – a mix of red wine vinegar and olive oil blend, the brand has built up a passionate, loyal fan base.

Jersey Mike’s is also dedicated to giving back to communities of which its restaurants are a part of on a local and national level. In November 2021, the brand announced it had raised $3 million for Feeding America. And every year in March, the brand holds a Month of Giving fundraising campaign.
