Katie Henry is the woman behind the Board & Bread concept. Henry, who is a former teacher and school counselor, quit her job in education following the sudden death of her mother. Her life changed, but her desire to serve and uplift others did not, so she began to create charcuterie boards to share with family and friends, and eventually opened her catering business.

“My hope and my prayer is that each and every charcuterie board I create makes someone feel loved, important, and cared for,” Henry stated on the Board & Bread website. Henry has offered charcuterie boards through catering, but her first brick-and-mortar will be located at 8763 7th St., Ste. 200, Frisco, TX 75034.

Board & Bread offers large charcuterie boards for events or smaller boards for an evening out with the girls. The Hattie is a 12-inch round charcuterie board that features four cheeses, two meats, fruit, nuts, bacon jam, and more. You can add grain or gluten free crackers.

It’s not just meat and cheese. Board & Bread also offers fruit and dessert boards, as well as brunch boards, which include bagels, cream cheese, yogurt, pastries, and more. Lunchboxes, charcuterie cups, and custom boards are also available.
