A press release provided to What Now Dallas offered an overview of the chain’s plans for the region. Birdcall is aiming to open 8 to 10 new DFW locations over the next few years. CEO Mark Lohmann states that while leases have not been signed for the brand’s next bumper crop, the chicken magnates are hoping to expand into Uptown, Southlake, Denton, and University Park (Fort Worth).
Birdcall is actively seeking franchisees for its big push into the area, but has not yet signed any.
The chain, founded in 2016, is certain to add some extra spice to the DFW restaurant scene, both through its delicious and varied cuisine and its commitment to community engagement. Lohmann explains: ““Community lies at the heart and soul of everything we do. We integrate with our communities and embrace this pledge by providing meal donations, giving supplies to neighboring schools, hosting local nonprofits for restaurant nights in which a portion of sales are donated back to the organization, and more. This program serves as a north star for Birdcall.”
As for the cuisine, Birdcall brings an innovative eye to the crowded fast-casual chicken market. The made-to-order menu features everything from the simple and straightforward to elaborate and unexpected choices like the Southern with pimento cheese and southern coleslaw sandwich.
Guests can also select from tenders, sliders, and specialty salads, all complemented by a selection of 15 house-made sauces.
