The menu features a variety of authentic Indian dishes such as Dum Biryani, curries, Irani Chai, Mango/Chikoo shake, traditional Lassi, and Indian pastries and sweets. “We also provide groceries, fresh produce, and halal meat,” Kumar said.

Desi Chowrastha is currently in operation in The Colony and Coppell, as well as in Ohio. Several other locations are in the works for other states such as Virginia and New Hampshire.

Desi Chowrastha’s mission is to provide a one-stop shop to cater to the South Asian community’s needs, as well as to provide a refined experience for people to celebrate the flavors of food together, according to the brand’s website.
