If you’re not familiar with the name Atipico, it might be because the restaurant is native to Mexico with two locations in Mexico City. But that’s about to change because the creative dining concept is being brought to the U.S. with its first stateside location being none other than Dallas, Texas.
Atipico is the Spanish word for atypical meaning: not typical; irregular; unusual. And true to the word, Atipico is a restaurant that adapts to different lifestyles with creative dishes in constant change.
According to an official note, Atipico reinterprets international food and makes it creative while satisfying different dietary preferences. The menu features traditional, keto, vegan and gluten-free options, ensuring that there is truly something for every taste. Their Instagram and Facebook pages for Mexico display tasty shots of wontons, pasta bowls, soups, sweets, and refreshing drinks.
Restaurant Guru notes that among other Mexican and Spanish cuisine places to eat at in Mexico, Atipico is one of the best. “Cooks at Atipico do their best to provide guests with tasty tacos, chicken and laing,” a review reads.
Leading the efforts to bring the restaurant to Dallas is Founder and Chief Atypical Officer, Claudia de Murga, who said in a statement that the vibrant area “makes a great first location for Atipico in Texas where we expect to delight our customers with creative dishes and cocktails.”
